Dear Mary:
My cousin Linda is also into animal rehab, though on a smaller scale. She once rescued some baby possums from a mother possum that was hit by a car. And Linda has had quite a menagerie (mostly cats and dogs) through the years. But there was another lady I used to know who still gives me a chuckle! When we had a Food Bonanza in Clinton (across the river from here) I'd see her with a shopping cart full of bags of nuts. I guess she actually raised squirrels! And on the organic front, is there some way you can get your local school to serve more foods like that? I've heard of something called a Farm to School Program. It would be fun to get some of those programs implemented for Fulton. Thanks for your ping, and have a nice night!
